holiday travels

As i am sure you have heard i flew home for the holidays. But what you might not know it that i brought my 80 lb dog as carry-on luggage. It went quite smoothly. He slept under the seat and didn't have any major worries, even though we were in the airport(s) for more than 8-9 hours. It was fun having him home. he playing with my parents dog (rio) all day long.

It was great to see everyone, i had glad i made it to detroit & saw a hockey game with friends. There were several night that i stayed up really late w/ friends & drove back to my parents in the morning. It was a lot of fun.

I even had a couple extra day of vacation, my flight back to seattle was cancelled and i spent new years eve in grand rapids. it was a good opportunity to hang out with friends i didn't get much chance to see while in town.

I was glad to visit Grand Rapids and i am really happy to be back on the boat & in Seattle. Now if i can just catch up on sleep...
