midnight alarm...

Last night I wanted to make a fire so built one. But I couldn't get a good fire started. So I decided I would just turn on the heater & go to sleep. Well I guess I did a better job than I thought because at 12.30 the smoke detector when off and I look in the main cabin to see the tell tale signs for fire. I saw the light from the flames and it was getting quite warm in the boat. I jump out of bed, and hope over to the "fireplace" it is damn hot! And there is a "big" fire. Luckily it is all contained in the fireplace. I decided that is will be fine and go back to bed. It was crazy for a second of two... Maybe two & a half.
