A day of rest

I am not in Kansas anymore... and yeah it was a long drive yesterday! to top it off the wind was blew, i mean really blowing, 35-40 mph gusts (so they say). there were times that i could get above 50 mph. and to top it off my gas milage drop A LOT!! i was getting around 19.5 mpg which really sucks! i usually get 30-34 mpg. but you can understand why... i have my car loaded down.

since it was a long day yesterday i have decided to relax a little in colorado. i am staying with one of my good friends Caryn. she is a very gracious hostest. later today we will be going to the park with the dogs and then out for a bit to eat. i am glad i have friends like her all accross the states.

i am anixous to for salt lake city. two reasons, skiing/boarding (i hear it is some of the best in the country, maybe that is why the olimpics was there) and i get to see amber lee. i have not seen here for a couple of years and it should be a great time.
